Use A Question Coupon.

Read this first...
In order to use your Question Coupon, you will need to have a coupon number/id, which is one of the following:
- The Paypal "Transaction ID" or order number you were given by Paypal when you purchased a Question Coupon.
- The Free Lunch Question Coupon ID number you were allocated during a give away or as a prize.
- Any other Transaction ID/Number or order id/number you were given which resulted in you reciving a Question Coupon.
If you do not include a valid coupon number/id with your question - it will not be answered.
Remember:
- This is a web only service so no physical in or out calls.
- Your picking my brains, asking for advice only - not getting me to redesign your whole IT infrastructure.
- Because I'm not going to be there, you need to provide as much information as possible - don't worry I'll guide you to what I need to know in order to be able to advise you properly.
- Once you use your coupon that's it, you need to get another one to ask another question.
How to use your Question Coupon.
On the next page you will be presented with a ticket submission form - which we will use to keep track of your question and answers.
Below is a screen capture of the form with all the steps you will need to take - the explanation is below the image.

Step 1: Click on the drop down menu and select: Use Question Coupon
Step 2: Type your Name in the space provided.
Step 3: Type your current email address in the space provided.
Step 4: Type your coupon number/id here.
Step 5: Use the area provided to ask your question, provide as much detail as possible.
If your haveing a problem include details like:
- What was happning or what were you doing before the even took place?
- What was happning at the time the even took place?
- What happened after the even took place, what did you do?
- What noises did you hear - were they normal or new?
- What is the specification of your system, e.g.
- The Operating System e.g.:
- Windows: 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, Vista
- Apple Mac - what version
- The amount of RAM
- The hard drive capacity
- Who made it - i.e. the manufacture
- When was it bought.
- Have you made any modifications to it.
Include things even if you think they are not relevent - they could be the key.
If your just seeking advice - include details like:
- What are you doing now?
- What are you using now?
- What do you want to do?
- What is the end result you want?
- Do you have a budget - if so how much - doesn't have to be excat, a ball park figure will do.
- Why (to all of the above)?
- What is your time frame?
- Where are you located?
- Who/what do you have access to?
Don't worry if you miss something out, if I need more information or if I am unclear about something you mentioned - I'll ask you.
You can also provide links to say images and videos that you have taken or made and are hosted on say box.net or another file hosting service.
Keep the content family friendly - anything obscene will be reported.
Step 6: Step 6 is optional - priority by default is given to existing customers and clients so make sure you include that coupon number/id.
Step 7: Type into the area provided, the text shown above the text box - this is a security feature to prevent automated spamming.
Step 8: Click on "Continue" to submit the ticket.
Once the ticket has been successfully submitted, the area just above the ticket form will change to look as follows:

Step 9: Click on the "here" link as shown above. You will be taken to a page which has the following at the top.

Step 10: Make a note of the ticket reference you are given (in the area indicated) as you will needed it to be able to check the progress of the ticket.
Now that you know what to do - click on the link below to begin submitting your question, the link will open in a new window so that if you need any help - this page will still be around for you to look over.
